Global Vision’s 2022 Virtual Round Table Series
Your Gateway to Opportunities, with Global Vision*
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Global Vision has temporarily canceled our in-person Round Table series. Global Vision is monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely, and our team has yet to decide whether our in-person Round Table series will resume in 2023. Please visit our website regularly for updates on our Round Table Series. Thank you.
A start-up entrepreneur who plans to become the next Elon Musk, a young advocate committed to addressing issues in global environmental governance, and an aspiring public servant committed to their community and country—what do these individuals have in common? They all got their start at a Global Vision Round Table! This summer, we will be virtually hosting our Round Table series so that Canada’s top youth can continue to gain valuable knowledge, skills, and experience to excel in the global economy while strengthening their attachment to our rich national heritage.
From July to August 2022, our Round Table series will help youth explore future careers in all fields. Our 40,000 alumni now live on five continents, in more than 60+ countries worldwide, working as entrepreneurs, journalists, doctors, engineers, teachers, trade commissioners, civil society leaders, and more, all attesting that Global Vision helped them get the experience that mattered!
Through activities like the interactive 5 Step Game Changer leadership development workshop and collaborative sessions with business, government, and community leaders, delegates further their leadership and entrepreneurial skills and enhance their leadership capacities within and beyond their communities. Delegates are allowed to tackle local and regional challenges, working with stakeholders to propose innovative solutions.
Graduates of the Regional Round Table series can continue to build on their experience through other Global Vision programs such as Junior Team Canada International Trade and Development Missions to countries such as China, Peru and others central to the global economy. Round Table Graduates are also eligible to attend the National Youth Ambassador Caucus or the Arctic Youth Ambassador Caucus, which will take place when it is safe to travel again.

FAQs
How do I apply?
If you are a motivated youth eager to learn and create change in your community, you are the kind of delegate we are looking for in our 2022 Virtual Round Table Series. Seeing that the Round Table series are likely your first introduction to the Global Vision programs, you will be only required to submit a 250-word personal statement or 1-2 minute video. As you progress to other related programs, such as the Junior Team Canada International Trade and Development Missions, the process will become more competitive, requiring an application, selection, and interview process.
How old do you have to be to attend?
Youth aged 16 to 25 generally get the most out of the program. However, as talent has no age, we’ve been known to make exceptions for individuals who fall both below or above this general threshold.
How much does it cost to attend?
The 2022 Round Table series will be free, as they will be held remotely due to the COVID pandemic. This program is made possible by Global Vision’s generous donors and corporate partners.
