Pan Atlantic Youth Forum Nov 18th-21st
/Global Vision is pleased to announce the launch of our latest initiative, the Pan Atlantic Youth Forum. The Pan Atlantic Youth Forum will bring together youth from across Atlantic Canada to look at innovative ways in which they can contribute to the economic development of their communities. Global Vision will provide them with the tools, the mentorship, and the leadership training required to take action.
The Forum is open to those young people with a desire to take initiative, aged 16-25 in both High School and University. It will take place in Sydney Cape Breton, November 18th-21st. Participants will have the opportunity to apply to other Global Vision programs after the end of the Pan Atlantic Youth Forum.
Issues to be addressed include; Economic Development, Leadership, Atlantic Canada in the Global Economy, and the Foundation for Leadership Series.
2010 marks the 20th anniversary of Global Vision, which was founded in 1990 by Terry Clifford, C.M. Global Vision runs programs including; Global Leaders Centres, The National Youth Caucus, Junior Team Canada Trade and Development Missions, The APEC Youth Summit, and My Summit 2010 G8/G20. To date the various programs, which are designed to teach youth through hands on participation have featured Canadian youth on a Global stage in over 30 Countries on 6 Continents.
